Al igual que el restaurante One & Only, esta en una plataforma sobre el mar. Se llama 360 grados porque tiene forma circular y esto permite tener vistas desde todo el local.

Sus vistas, el Burj al Arab y el hotel Jumeirah ( jumeirah significa playa en árabe y este hotel tiene la forma de una ola ).

Like the restaurant one & only, it sits on a platform over the sea.

Called 360 degrees, it's circle shapped and this allows panoramic views from all around the place.

The bar is facing the Burj al Arab and Jumeirah hotels ( Jumeirah means beach in Arabic and this hotel has the shape of a wave )

Puedes venir de día a ver el increíble atardecer mientras te tomas una copa y fumas una Sisha.

También tienen bebidas sin alcohol.

La parte de abajo es un restaurante en el que nunca he estado, pero suena bien eso de terminar de  cenar y subir una planta para tomarte algo en lugar de tener que coger el coche.

You can come to see the amazing sunset while you have some drinks and smoke a Sisha. Non alcoholic beverages are also available.

The ground floor is a restaurant. I've never been there but looks like a good idea just to go upstairs to have some drinks instead of getting on the car to drive somewhere else...

Y respecto a la música, tienen un DJ toda la noche durante los fines de semana. Así que poco mas se puede decir. Es realmente de los mejores locales de Dubai ( al menos para mi ).

Esta abierto de 17:00 a 02:00, ya que aquí cierran todo muy temprano. Así que a continuar con la diversión en casa de algún amigo.

Regarding the music, they have a DJ playing all night during weekends.

For me, the 360 is one of the best bars in Dubai.

It's open from 17:00 to 02:00. Here the clubs close very early, so if you want to go on, you'll have to continue in a friend's house.

One & only...

Hola, hoy os quería hablar de un hotel nuevo que he conocido hace unos días con unos amigos y tengo que decir que es uno de los hoteles mas bonitos que he visto aquí en Dubai.

Se llama One&only y esta en la zona de la palmera Jumeirah.

Nosotros estuvimos en el restaurante del hotel. Este esta sobre el mar y puedes dejar tu barquito aparcado en el embarcadero del restaurante y bajarte a comer, cenar o tomar algo, eso si, con un consumo mínimo de 750 dhs ( 150 euros ) así que bueno, esto es lo único malo del restaurante, el precio, ya que no es barato.

Os muestro unas fotografías de la increíble piscina del hotel, con su espectacular entrada a la recepción.

Lo que mas me gusto de todo es la decoración del hotel por su sencillez y buen gusto, ya que aquí muchas veces 'pecan' de horteras porque a los árabes les encanta la extravagancia...

Hello, today I want to tell you about a new hotel I discovered a few days ago with some friends. I have to say this is one of the most beautiful hotels I've seen here in Dubai.

It's called One&only and is located in the palm Jumeirah.

We went to the hotel's restaurant. It's over a platform on the sea and you can leave your boat parked at the pier of the restaurant and get off to have lunch, dinner or a few drinks, but in that case you will be charged with a minimum consumption fee of 750 dhs ( 150 euros ). The price is the only downside of the restaurant, as it is not cheap.

Here you can see a few pictures of the incredible pool of the hotel and it's spectacular entrance to the reception.

What I liked most of the hotel was it's decoration due to its simplicity and good taste, because very often here they are a bit naff, since Arabs love extravagance...

Respecto al menú del restaurante, pues tienes de todo un poco.

Nosotros pedimos una paella para compartir ( bastante buena por cierto ) ya que aquí es difícil encontrarlas ricas. Aparte probamos carne, pasta, ensaladas, carpaccio...

Aconsejo los postres, deliciosos. Tarta de queso, helados, crema catalana...

Después de comer o cenar puedes tomarte una copa, cóctel... La verdad que merece la pena ya que el ambiente es muy agradable, tipo chill out, con buena música e increibles vistas.

You will find a reasonable variety in the restaurant's menu.

We shared a paella ( pretty good by the way ) because here is difficult to find them good. We tasted the meat, pasta, salads and carpaccio.

I recommend the desserts. Delicious cheesecakes, ice creams, crema catalana...

After lunch or dinner you can have a drink or cocktail... This is highly recommended because the ambient is very pleasant, chill out type with good music and incredible views.

Paella en Dubai... Paella in Dubai...

El otro día os decía que los deportes mas demandados aquí son aquellos al aire libre por el buen clima que hace casi todo el ano  y esto ultimo hace también que durante los fines de semana la gente saque sus barcos ( aquí se pueden mantener fácilmente por el combustible tan barato ) y disfrutar del fin de semana en ellos.

Aquí os muestro unas fotografías  en las que disfrutamos con unos amigos de un día de playa, wake y una paella, si como oís!!!!.

Aquí hay pequeñas islas en las que la gente 'acampa' y pasa el día. Te puedes llevar tu propia comida preparada, o como en nuestro caso cocinarla allí.

Lo importante, dejar recogido todo al finalizar.

As I mentioned on one of my previous posts, the outdoor sports are the most common ones in here because the weather is good during most part year and that creates a perfect occasion during weekends for the people to take their boats for a ride and enjoy their time. Owning  a boat in here is quite affordable due to low fuel and maintenance prices.

Here you can see a few pictures with some friends enjoying a day on the beach, doing wakeboard and eating paella. Yes, I repeat, paella!!!

Here there are small islands and it's possible to go camping during the day. You can take your food or cook it yourself in the island.

The most important thing when you finish is to tidy everything up and collect your trash.
